I called her first when it was time for me to give birth, she arrived before my midwife team, and during labor was a firm and grounded reminder to drop into my breath and body (with both her hands and her voice).
During my postpartum time, she checked in with me frequently and had really great advice on breastfeeding as well, especially when I felt defeated.”
